Department: Head Start & Children’s Services – Region 6 EPS
Supports the program services offered through EPS Region 6. Responsible for maintaining and/or managing communications with programs and educators around program services. Answer phone and process email inquiries and requests from the field for information and support about professional development, coaching and mentoring. Assist with the production and dissemination of marketing communications, including emails and flyers. Keep project calendar updated to reflect new professional development opportunities. Coordinate administrative processes for the department. Perform data entry into the Region 6 database on a regular basis and assist with the monthly reports to EEC and generate related reports as needed. Oversee and perform special projects as necessary. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Minimum of an Associate’s degree in education, human services or a related field, and one to three years of relevant professional experience required. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Applications. Proficiency with creating and posting content to CMS platforms (such as WordPress), and maintaining email platforms (such as Constant Contact). Bilingual skills and writing proficiency in Spanish/English. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
