Assist with the outreach, intake, verification, and processing of all Energy Program applications and client communication resources. Provide outreach and education to potential and eligible clients and Fuel Assistance Intake Sites by telephone, mail, and meetings regarding all Energy Programs. Perform client intake through face-to-face interviews while completing the Fuel Assistance application and collecting appropriate documentation for processing. Assist in providing services to clients seeking utility payment management programs.  Maintain applicant files in an accurate and efficient manner.  Ensure all winter heating emergency calls are properly recorded, referred, and resolved. Provide utility queries of utility usage. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Minimum of a high school diploma /GED and up to twelve months related experience in general office work required. Some college coursework a plus. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual skills as needed. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
