Responsible for the administration and management of program operations at the Head Start center in accordance with ACF, EEC and ABCD policies, regulations and performance standards. Ensure high quality services are delivered to Head Start children and families. Collaborate with staff to ensure full program enrollment and waiting list. Coordinate the annual local budget preparation process with parents and staff. Oversee the development and implementation of annual program goals. Responsible for planning, implementing and documenting all staff supervision and training activities, as well as parent involvement and training activities. Ensure enrollment, recruitment, selection and attendance records are current, accurate and confidential to submit to Head Start Central as needed. Oversee the implementation of outreach, local marketing and recruitment initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Management or Early Childhood Education required. Must have more than three years of successful administrative and supervisory experience, preferably in an early childhood education setting.  Must be able to manage multiple and complex tasks. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
