Responsible for the program’s daily clerical functions and general office procedures to ensure that established policies and procedures are being followed. Maintain records for miscellaneous correspondence, telephone conversations, and in-house communications. Work closely with other departments regarding purchasing, personnel, payroll and other administrative matters. Assist families with enrollment applications and provide important information regarding the program. Maintain and assess monthly parent fees and assist with monthly reports. Review current clerical procedures and develop suggestions for improvement as needed. Assist staff in completing assignments as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Minimum of a high school diploma/GED, with at least one year of experience in a human service agency and a solid background in general office practice required. Associate’s degree in a related field preferred. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with experience in fiscal operations required. Must have demonstrated ability to take initiative. Bilingual skills in Spanish highly preferred. Must be able to work sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
